Workshop description

A workshop to learn preserving techniques and have a go at making some jam.

Workshop aims

By the end of the workshop members will:

 

  • have learnt the main different types of food preserving.
  • have learnt how to sterilise preserving equipment.
  • have learnt how to prepare and preserve foraged foodstuffs.
  • have successfully made some jam
  • have been asked to think about where we might sell our jam to fund further workshops.

Other information

Please bring some empty jam jars if you have any.
