Workshop description

This workshop is designed for anyone, beginner cooks or experienced cooks. Members will have the opportunity to make a nutritious main course dish which they can take home at the end of the workshop.

Workshop aims

By the end of the workshop members will:

 

·         have made a healthy meal  from scratch.

·         have used their experience of making the meal to share ideas about their own food tastes. and dietary needs/preferences

·         have shared their own cooking and food preparation tips.

·         have an appreciation of using fresh locally grown ingredients in cooking, in terms of budgeting, health and the environment.

·         have thought about how Make, Do and Mend can market and sell home-made produce to fund further workshops.

Other information

Please wear clothes you will not worry about getting food on, and/or bring an apron. Bring a container to take your food home with you.
