Leaflet Distributors

Volunteer Role Description

We are looking for enthusiastic people to help spread the word about Make, Do and Mend. We run a variety of strength-based skills workshops for people who have experience of mental health distress. We aim to promote better mental health by encouraging individual achievement and offering peer support to our members. We need Leaflet Distributors to promote the work we do through the distribution of targeted marketing, including the delivery of leaflets and posters to other organisations, advertising our services. The role will involve visiting local GP and mental health services, community centres and other local organisations where potential new members might look for information. Recording and documenting your own progress as you go, you will need to share this information with the organisation periodically. The role also involves engaging with people in like-minded organisations in order to raise awareness of the organisation’s aims and services in Cambridge. The role is designed to be flexible and can be done to fit around other commitments.
