Volunteer Role Description

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic people to help out at Make, Do and Mend. We run a variety of strength-based skills workshops for people who have experience of mental health distress. We aim to promote better mental health by encouraging individual achievement and offering peer support to our members. The Fundraiser will report to the Chair and will work to draw in funds from a range of sources including grants, charitable trusts and donations. The Fundraiser will coordinate funding applications and develop support for Make, Do and Mend through our Friends programme. Some fund-raising or event management experience is desirable but full training will be given.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop fund-raising skills within an exciting charity environment.
