Campaigns Officer

Volunteer Role Description


We are looking for passionate people to lead Campaigns which matter to the members of Make, Do and Mend and which are related to promoting awareness of the issues those with mental ill-health endure. We are a charity providing strength-based skills workshops, peer support and information on local mental health resources for people who have experience of mental health distress. The role will include liaising with members of Make, Do and Mend to listen to any concerns they have and to translate these into campaigns with clear actions in order to make their voices heard and to inspire change. You will need to link in with online campaigning organisations and local politicians and authorities to maximise impact. Training and support will be provided.
