Become a Friend of Make, Do and Mend

Friends of Make, Do and Mend are really important as it is with your help and support that we can be strong enough to fight social isolation and prejudices for people suffering from mental health distress. People matter at Make, Do and Mend and without you none of this would be possible.

Becoming a Friend of Make, Do and Mend means being kept up to date with our successes and achievements through our Newsletter as well as supporting us wherever possible to help us to achieve our aims. The fee is £12 per year and this entitles you to one free guest pass to attend a Make, Do and Mend workshop of your choice. You will be able to see and  experience first-hand how our workshops with your support are benefitting our members. We hope you might even be inspired to come and share your own strengths and talents at a future workshop.

In becoming a Friend of Make, Do and Mend, we hope you will join us in our aim to support and accept people with mental health issues and encourage others to share their strengths for the benefit of our members.

You could also contribute to Make, Do and Mend by:

  • talking to friends and family about Make, Do and Mend,
  • sending in ideas for new workshops,
  • signing up to Freecycle in your local area in order to collect materials for our creative workshops,
  • following us on Facebook and Twitter,
  • becoming a volunteer and sharing your skills with our members,
  • coordinating a Make, Do and Mend workshop in your local community,
  • or by making a donation.
Please get in touch via our Contact Us page or download the attached form, fill it in and return it by email or post stating your preferred method of payment.

Thank you for your support.
